However, they decided to go digital with a PrestaShop to meet the retail as well as D2C consumer demands. All Go Pure products are organically grown. Project Requirements

GoPure’s website is built on PrestaShop CMS. As they have an exotic collection of healing plants, botanicals, kratom medicines, and 100% organic natural products, they wanted to uplift their customer shopping experience. So, they reached out to Nethues in search of a certified PrestaShop developer. The client requested mobile performance optimization, a product review module, and an FAQ module.

Go Pure’s mobile load speed was around 64 out of 100. We had to improve that by working on several speed-affecting elements such as theme, images, content, server, URLs, etc. The product review module should be simple, and allow purchased customers to leave a product review with ratings in stars.

The module for FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) should be able to generate the most asked questions by analyzing the provided structured data. These three were the primary tasks, followed by one more additional task to redesign the website’s product descriptions section. It should provide sufficient space to write detailed product descriptions, so customers can know what exactly they are buying with all the ingredients used to build their product.

Our Solution

Our PrestaShop developer created a project blueprint that would help the workflow process run smoothly. This blueprint was verified and discussed with the client to prevent any unexpected challenges during the project. To maintain 100% transparency in the workflow, Nethues set up professional project management and communication tools such as Basecamp, Trello, and Slack. Furthermore, to help the client communicate with the developer, professional Skype profiles and team discussion channels were created.

After that, the PrestaShop developer worked on the module’s architecture design, code execution, and functionality testing. To check if the module was working correctly, they integrated it into their demo webshop on a staging server and then put it into GoPure’s PrestaShop webshop. Our team monitored the webshop’s vitals on multiple browsers, operating systems, and mobile resolutions post-module integration. After we were done with the module aspect, we proceeded on to the site performance optimization via core web vitals and description section’s re-design.

Nethues PrestaShop development team decided to lessen the load on the webshop. So, instead of creating another custom module, we searched PrestaShop’s marketplace of extensions. We found a suitable plugin to help the client get product reviews from purchased customers. However, we customized the FAQ module so it can fetch and process the provided FAQ structured data. After the client’s approval over a professional team call, we installed the plugin and configured it for optimal performance.
