  • About The Project

    The client approached us for a mobile application that allowed iOS users to upload their videos regarding game reviews and lets them chat for added fun. It can be said that they were looking for a replica of YouTube.

    The project was handed to the iOS app development team so that a step-wise guide could be prepared. Eventually, the team was able to deliver an app that was no less than YouTube, on time and within budget.

    Objectives

    • Analyse and understand the client’s requirements for an app that exhibits the brand values and goals.
    • Develop a mobile app that works across iOS devices and allows the users to upload videos.
    • Integrate functionalities similar to YouTube including resuming from where you stopped, mark favorites, show video history etc.
    • Implement chat channel functionality where each user can share his or her views.
    • Manage video playing so that it doesn’t interrupt incoming call i.e. stop video player while attending a call. 
    • Perform rigorous testing for zero errors and bugs, both during and after project deployment.
